Chen, Fisher, Gabbay Law Firm: Case File

This file brings together a series of investigations into enforcement proceedings conducted by the firm, seen from the position of the party against whom they were conducted. Each investigation stands on its own, rests on documents attached to it, and ends with the questions put to the firm.

Every investigation in this file rests on documents of three kinds: documents filed with courts and enforcement offices and held in open files; documents obtained from public bodies under access to information requests; and direct correspondence between the parties. Identifying details of individuals were blacked out before publication, including names, identity numbers, addresses, account numbers and vehicle registration numbers. The redaction was burned into a flat image, with no text layer underneath.

The file does not contend that every failing it describes was deliberate, and it does not attribute an act to any person where the material does not show that they carried it out. Where a contention has not been determined as a judicial finding, it is presented as such.
