This file gathers investigations into the Bidspirit auction platform, through which most repossessed vehicles in Israel are sold, and into the auction houses operating on it. The central question: what happens to the debtor's personal data after the receiver has ended his role, and who is responsible for it.
The investigations rest on documents the parties themselves published (terms of use, privacy policies, sale pages), on server responses documented by anonymous access and sealed with timestamps, on the Database Registry and on direct correspondence. Identity documents of third parties were neither downloaded nor published.
